Water is the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT molecule on earth!
Without it, we would not be here and while everyone is looking for some “fitness hack” if you are not drinking enough water, or if your water is not quality enough, it will affect your health!
So will water actually help your lower back pain?
FACT: Your body is 75-90% water, and a 1-2% dehydration leads to measurable reduced performance. Since this is true, your muscles can fatigue faster, and produce less force, and this can cause you to get injured easier.
In addition, water often contains minerals such as calcium and magnesium, which are critical for health, muscles, and nerves.
I can tell when the tissues when patients are often chronically dehydrated.
How much water should you drink anyway?
You are more active in the first 10 hours of the day, and you should focus on 8oz at this time. This will ensure you are well-hydrated and reduce your chances of dehydration!
This is if you are exercising & physically active
- Your body weight (in ounces) / 30 = ounces per 15-20 min
- 150oz/30 = 5 ounces per 15-20 min
Do yourself a favor and for this week, pay attention to your hydration, it is one of the easiest ways to stay healthy!
Keep. Moving!
